Nintendo opened this Thursday applications for players interested in testing a new secret feature coming to Nintendo Switch Online.
“We will recruit people to participate in this test from customers who have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership,” states the information published on the website.
The company didn’t provide details on what the feature is about, only that participants must have Nintendo Accounts registered in The United States of America, The United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Japan—those in Asia will be selected via raffle and players from other countries on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The video game company clarified that the limit for the testing will be 10,000 participants and, according to recent posts on social media, the limit has already been reached.
“Nintendo Play test applications opened and closed within 5 seconds. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined,” wrote one user on X. Others celebrated they got in.
Registration for this test is now full. Thank you for your interest and participation!
