Nintendo Adds Mega Man Classic Games For Nintendo Switch Online Members
Nintendo recently announced that Nintendo Switch Online members have access to five classic games recently added to the library of NES, Super NES, and Game Boy games. The new additions are Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge, Mega Man II, III, IV, and V.
The video game company shared a video as part of the announcement that demonstrated the five games and provided more details about each of these classic sidescrolling action platformers.
Nintendo also reminded users that they can find other classics, like Super Mario Bros 3, Kirby’s Dream Land, The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past, and Super Mario World on the Nintendo Switch Online service.
Users Thrilled With These New Additions
After sharing the update on X, hundreds of users commented and shared their enthusiasm. “This is awesome news! Mega Man fans must be thrilled to have these classic games available to play on Nintendo Switch Online. Mega Man’s adventures never get old!” said one user.
“Don’t pass these up just because they’re the Game Boy versions. The first game may be a bit rough, but they greatly improve as the series goes on. Culminating in the brilliant Megaman V, which is also entirely its own thing,” added another.
Many users also shared positive comments on the YouTube video featuring the new games. “The trailer guy actually knows how to play the games, good job!” wrote a user. The new Mega Man announcement seemed to cheer up the crowds, especially after Nintendo recently ended its integration with the social media platform X.
