Apple TV+ Offers Free Access To All Users The First Weekend Of 2025

Apple TV+ has announced that it will offer free access to its library the first weekend of the year 2025, from January 3 to 5.

According to the press release, the company will provide an all-access pass to its streaming service to anyone with an Apple ID worldwide—in the 100 countries where it is available—at no cost. Apple TV+ expects users who enjoy their shows to subscribe to the platform afterward.

“Kick off 2025 by streaming Apple’s acclaimed originals, including buzzy new seasons of Silo, Shrinking, and Bad Sisters, the twisty, riveting Presumed Innocent, Golden Globe nominees Slow Horses and Disclaimer, and award-winning hits like The Morning Show and Ted Lasso,” wrote the company in the official announcement.

People can access Apple TV from multiple devices where the platform is available—iPhones, iPads, Macs, smart TVs, gaming consoles, Windows PCs, and more.

“I’m totally canceling my plans for that weekend! What are the top things I should watch?” wrote one user on X. “Everyone do yourselves a favor and watch Shrinking!,” wrote another user.

Those who wish to continue enjoying the streaming service after January 5th must subscribe and pay the $9.99 monthly fee.

Earlier this year, in June, Apple transmitted its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with major announcements including new shows and seasons for its most popular shows on Apple TV+.
