Easy Hide IP VPN offers a solid all-around package at a very agreeable price.
What you get is Blowfish-128 encryption and a wide array of protocols (OpenVPN UDP/TCP, PPTP, L2TP/IPsec, and the proprietary Classic LSP). While not the best, this level of security is sufficient for casual activities and viable for streaming/downloading.
You won’t get any fancy kill switches or DNS leak protection, although that’s to be expected with such a price tag.
What’s important is this VPN has excellent uptime, and didn’t succumb to any DNS or WebRTC leaks during our tests. Speeds are impressive, as is the network, with specialized servers for access to popular geoblocked streams (e.g. Netflix, BBC iPlayer).
As for privacy, Easy Hide IP VPN claims zero logging, apart from payment information “as per payment processor regulations”. The good news is you can alleviate that by making a purchase via Bitcoin.
In certain aspects, there is room for improvement with this VPN. However, it deserves consideration if you are seeking an affordable service.
